Shinaro is the Founder and Creative Director of OKAMOTO STUDIO Custom Ice, an artist collective working with ice, and based in Long Island City, New York. He is the son of Takeo Okamoto, Master Sculptor, and a past partner with Junichi in many ice competitions.
