Born Honolulu Hawaii.  Chef Instructor at Syracuse University. Executive Pastry Chef in the hotel industry for 37 years.  Started ice caving in 2007 to help out friend Stan Kolonko, Ice Farm, who injured his back that summer.  Started competing 2008 in NICA, Ottawa, Fairbanks and Harbin representing USA in 2010.
