Carl has been an executive chef, pastry chef and food and ice sculptor for over 24 years.  Carl is the owner of Chef on the Run Catering Services in Fairbanks.  He is a member of the USA Culinary Team with 12 gold medals and Best in Show title. 

He has competed in Austria, Belgium and at the Blue Ice Festival in Finland.  Over the years, he has won 4 gold, 3 silver, 3 bronze, 3 fifth place awards at BP World Ice Art Championships.

Carl is an ice carving instructor for Ice Alaska.This December, he was the Mentor Instructor for the first Junior Competition at North Pole’s, Christmas In Ice.
