Gina has competed in the World Ice Art Championships since 1993. She competed in Japan in 1995 and most recently in Anchorage, Alaska in 2013. Her awards include a First place, Third place, tie for Third, Artist's Choice, People's Choice, and several other top ten finishes over the years.

Gina received a B.F.A in Metalsmithing with a minor in Sculpture from UAF in 1996. She has received several awards for her metalwork and jewelry.

Gina lives in Fairbanks, Alaska with her husband, Jasper, and works at Clear Air Force Station out of Teamster's Local 959.
