Fairbanks, Alaska

Jacob works in retail sharpening and selling knives as well as handicrafts.  He has over 20 years sculpting in various mediums including wood and stone.  After moving to Alaska in 2006, he discovered ice carving.

Jacob has carved in Crystal Gallery of Ice, New Year's Festival in Anchorage, and the World Art Ice Championships in Fairbanks 2009 and 2010.  

After a three year absense, for family and work obligations, Jacob returned to Ice Alaska and the World Art Ice Championship 2013, to help his team place 5th and win he People's Choice Award.  He has been a regular annual competitor ever since.
